Presidente Abinader firma libro de condolencias por el fallecimiento de su alteza, el Emir Padre Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani
Santo Domingo.-President Luis Abinader signed this Wednesday the book of condolence opened at the residence of the ambassador of the State of Qatar in the Dominican Republic, on the occasion of the death of his highness, the Emir Father Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The president was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez, and was received by the ambassador of the State of Qatar accredited to the Dominican Republic, Yaser Awad Al-Abdulla.
President Abinader expressed, on behalf of the Government and the Dominican people, his deepest condolences and solidarity with the State of Qatar, its people and the Royal Family in the face of such a sensitive loss.
In the book of condolences, the head of state wrote the following message:
"On behalf of the people and government of the Dominican Republic, I express our deepest condolences on the passing of His Highness, the Emir Father. His life and leadership left a deep mark on the history and development of the State of Qatar.
We accompany His Highness the Emir, the Royal Family and the Qatari people in their pain. May you find strength and consolation in the face of this irreparable loss, and may the memory of His Highness Father Emir endure with honor. Very sincerely, Luis Abinader."
The presence of the head of state constitutes a sign of respect, as well as the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the Dominican Republic and the State of Qatar.
As a sign of mourning and respect for the death of His Highness, the Emir Father Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the flag of the State of Qatar flies at half-mast at the residence of that country's ambassador in the Dominican Republic.
His Highness, the Emir Father Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani (1952-2026), ruled Qatar from 1995 to 2013.

Que encuentren fortaleza y consuelo ante esta irreparable pérdida, y que la memoria de su alteza el Padre Emir perdure con honor. Muy sinceramente, Luis Abinader". La presencia del jefe de Estado constituye unamuestra de respeto, así como de los lazos de amistad y cooperaciónque unen a la República Dominicana y al Estado de Qatar. En señal de duelo y respeto por el fallecimiento de su alteza, el Emir Padre Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani,la bandera del Estado de Qatar ondea a media astaen la residencia del embajador de ese país en la República Dominicana. Su alteza, el Emir Padre Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani (1952-2026), gobernó Qatar desde 1995 hasta 2013.
