President Kast emphasized that the Government will maintain permanent monitoring of the evolution of the frontal system, reinforcing coordination between the institutions involved and promptly adopting the measures that are necessary to protect citizens. El Presidente de la República, José Antonio Kast, sostuvo este lunes en La Moneda una reunión por videollamada con los delegados presidenciales regionales de todo el país, para coordinar las acciones preventivas y revisar el despliegue del Gobierno ante el sistema frontal que afectará durante los próximos días a distintas zonas entre las regiones de Coquimbo y Biobío.En la instancia participaron el biministro del Interior y Secretaría General de Gobierno, Claudio Alvarado, y el subsecretario del Interior, Max Pavez, quienes junto a las autoridades regionales evaluaron los planes de respuesta y coordinación territorial para enfrentar las lluvias y fuertes vientos pronosticados.Durante la reunión, el Mandatario destacó que el Gobierno ha instruido actuar con anticipación desde que se emitieron las primeras alertas meteorológicas, con el propósito de resguardar a las personas y reducir los efectos que pueda provocar este evento climático.Asimismo, señaló que los ministerios, las delegaciones presidenciales regionales, el Servicio Nacional de Prevención y Respuesta ante Desastres (SENAPRED), Bomberos, Carabineros, las Fuerzas Armadas y los distintos servicios públicos ya se encuentran desplegados y preparados para responder de manera coordinada con los municipios y los gobiernos regionales.El Presidente Kast enfatizó que el Gobierno mantendrá un monitoreo permanente de la evolución del sistema frontal, reforzando la coordinación entre las instituciones involucradas y adoptando oportunamente las medidas que sean necesarias para proteger a la ciudadanía.
