Shusha, Azerbaijan, July. 13 (SANA)Syrian Information MinisterKhaled Zaarour, accompanied by Deputy Minister Mohammad Tofran, took part in the fourth edition of the Global Shusha Media Forum, hosted in the Azerbaijani city of Shusha on July 13–14.

The forum is being held under the theme “The Role of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust,” under the patronage and in the presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The event has brought together around 160 media professionals, experts and officials representing more than 50 countries.

The forum discusses a range of issues, including the role of media in peacebuilding, journalism ethics, cybersecurity, countering misinformation, and the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the media sector. The program also includes interactive panel discussions, open dialogue sessions and field visits.
