The President of the Republic of Seychelles,Dr.Patrick Herminie, hassenta message of condolence to His Excellency Mr. Pedro Sánchez, Presidentof theGovernment of theKingdom of Spain, following the devastating wildfires in the Province of Almería, which resulted infatalitiesand the displacement of numerous residents.

In his message, PresidentDrHerminie, stated:

“I was saddened to learn of the recent wildfires which ravaged the Provinceof Almeria, resulting in the loss of lives and mass displacement.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republicof Seychelles, and in my own name,Iextend our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to you and the people of Spain, and in particular, the families who have lost their loved ones in this tragedy.

We offer our solidarity during this challenging time. We remain confident the nation will surmount this adversity and emerge more resilient.”
