Following the tragic loss of lives caused by a firein Bangkok, the President of the Republic of Seychelles,Dr. Patrick Herminie,conveyeda message of condolence toH.E. Mr.AnutinCharnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand,expressing the sympathyand solidarity of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles.

In his message, PresidentHerminie, stated:

“It is with great sadness thatIlearned of the massive fire inBangkok, which claimed the lives of twenty-seven people and left many others criticallyinjured.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republicof Seychelles, and on my own behalf,Iextend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones, and our sympathy to those injured and affected by this devastating incident.

The scale of this tragedy has brought profound sorrow, and we share in the grief of the Thaipeople during this difficult time.
