His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani performed the funeral prayer for the late, God willing, deceased of the great nation, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, “may God have mercy on him,” at the Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque today.

The prayer, which was held after the Maghrib prayer, was also performed by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir, His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani, His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of the Emir, His Excellency Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim. Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker of the Shura Council, Their Excellencies the sons of the late His Highness the Father Amir, Their Excellencies Sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, notables of the country, a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the state, and a group of citizens and residents.
