ЖамиятNational intellectual property assets to receive international protection21:11 / 10.07.2026
Alisher Azamkhodjayev, Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Relations, Foreign Investment, and Tourism, noted that the document under consideration creates new opportunities for the international legal protection of intellectual property assets in the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly geographical indications and appellations of origin for goods. This is of great importance for enhancing the competitiveness of national products and facilitating their effective entry into the global market.
The law will help improve the investment and business climate, develop regional brands, increase the country’s export potential, and strengthen the state’s positive image internationally.
