Damascus, July 11(SANA)Interior MinisterAnas Khattabmet on Saturday with provincialinternal securitycommanders, attended by his deputy and senior ministry officials, to review the security situation and measures aimed at strengthening stability.

According to theInterior Ministry‘s Telegram channel, Khattab called for tighter implementation of approved security plans, stronger field coordination and oversight, and faster responses to incidents and public reports to enhance citizens’ safety.

The meeting followed a series of recent security operations carried out by the Interior Ministry’s specialized units, in coordination with the General Intelligence Service, which dismantled severalISISterrorist cells in southern Syria.

Joint operations also led to the capture of all members of the terrorist cell responsible for the recent Damascus bombings through simultaneous raids across Damascus and its countryside.kA.MZ
