Gobierno impulsa en Paso Yobái un nuevo modelo de infraestructura educativa
The activity included the participation of the First Lady of the Nation, Leticia Ocampos; the Minister of Public Works and Communications, Eng. Claudia Centurión; the governor of Guaira, César Sosa; in addition to national, departmental and municipal authorities. The intervention represents an investment of G. 15,418,445,890 and contemplates a comprehensive renovation of the institution, with modern infrastructure adapted to new teaching models.
A new model for education
When touring the works, President Peña reaffirmed that education constitutes one of the country's main development axes and maintained that this type of investment is part of a strategy to expand opportunities for children and young people throughout the national territory.
Likewise, he expressed that the Government's objective is to extend this model of educational infrastructure to all the districts of Paraguay, through modern, functional institutions prepared to respond to the needs of current education.
He also pointed out that these investments are possible thanks to a policy aimed at allocating more resources to the development of the country and improving the quality of life of Paraguayan families.
Infrastructure designed for new generations
For her part, Minister Claudia Centurión explained that the intervention will transform the current school into a Comprehensive Education Center, incorporating spaces for early childhood, basic school education and secondary education, as well as laboratories, a library, a sports center, sports plazas and an athletics track, designed in accordance with the new pedagogical guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Sciences.
The minister added that the project is part of the investment package financed with resources from ITAIPU Binacional to strengthen the country's educational infrastructure and highlighted that the work is carried out by Paraguayan companies, with nationally produced materials. In addition, he highlighted that 80% of the workforce corresponds to workers from Paso Yobái, contributing to generating employment and boosting the local economy.
With 93% progress, the execution is entering its final stage and will allow students and teachers to have safer, modern and more appropriate spaces for learning, consolidating the Government of Paraguay's commitment to higher quality education and better opportunities for future generations.

Infraestructura pensada para las nuevas generaciones Por su parte, la ministra Claudia Centurión explicó que la intervención transformará el actual colegio en unCentro de Educación Integral, incorporando espacios para la primera infancia, educación escolar básica y educación media, además delaboratorios, biblioteca, polideportivo, plazas deportivas y pista de atletismo, diseñados conforme a los nuevos lineamientos pedagógicos del Ministerio de Educación y Ciencias. La ministra agregó que el proyecto forma parte del paquete de inversiones financiadas con recursos deITAIPU Binacionalpara fortalecer la infraestructura educativa del país y destacó que la obra es ejecutada porempresas paraguayas, conmateriales de producción nacional. Además, resaltó queel 80% de la mano de obra corresponde a trabajadores de Paso Yobái, contribuyendo a generar empleo y dinamizar la economía local.
