The Tambuttegama water supply project, which aims to provide safe and clean drinking water to 91,810 people in Tambuttegama, Talawa and Galnawa divisions, was handed over to the people today (10) afternoon. Although this project, which was started under a concessional loan given by the China Development Bank (CDB), was stopped in the middle due to the debt restructuring process during the period from May 2022 to May 2024, I am happy to have successfully completed the project by using the funds of the Government of Sri Lanka, recognizing the national importance of this. I would also like to thank everyone who contributed to it. Today (10) afternoon, I participated in the event of handing over the Tambuthegama water supply project to the public for the purpose of providing safe and clean drinking water to the 91,810 people living in Tambuthegama, Talawa and Kalneva divisions. Although this project started under the concessional loan provided by the China Development Bank (CDB) was suspended between May 2022 and May 2024 due to the debt restructuring process, realizing its national importance, I am happy to be able to successfully complete the work of this project using the funds of the Government of Sri Lanka. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to this. Attended the commissioning of the Thambuttegama Water Supply Project this afternoon (10), which has now been handed over to the public. The project aims to provide safe, clean drinking water to 91,810 people in the Thambuttegama, Thalawa and Galnewa Divisional Secretariat divisions. Although the project, which was launched under a concessional loan provided by the China Development Bank (CDB), was suspended from May 2022 to May 2024 due to the debt restructuring process, I am pleased that, recognizing its national importance, the project was successfully completed with financial support from the Government of Sri Lanka. I also extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this project a success.

තඹුත්තේගම, තලාව, ගල්නෑව යන ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයන්හි 91,810ක ජනතාවකට සෞඛ්යාරක්ෂිත පිරිසිදු පානීය ජලය ලබා දීමේ අරමුණෙන් ක්රියාත්මක තඹුත්තේගම ජල සම්පාදන ව්යාපෘතිය ජනතා අයිතියට පවරා දීමේ අවස්ථාවට අද (10) පස්වරුවේ එක්වීමි. චීන සංවර්ධන බැංකුව (CDB) ලබා දුන් සහන ණයක් යටතේ ආරම්භ කෙරුණු මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය 2022 මැයි මස සිට 2024 මැයි දක්වා කාල සීමාව තුළ ණය ප්රතිව්යුහගත කිරීමේ ක්රියාවලිය හේතුවෙන් අතරමග නැවතී තිබුණද, මෙහි ජාතික වැදගත්කම හඳුනා ගනිමින් ශ්රී ලංකා රජයේ අරමුදල්ද යොදවමින් ව්යාපෘතියේ කටයුතු සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමට ලැබීම පිළිබඳ සතුටු වෙමි. ඊට දායකත්වය සැපයූ සියලු දෙනා වෙත ස්තූතිය ද පිරිනමමි. தம்புத்தேகம, தலாவ மற்றும் கல்நேவ ஆகிய பிரதேச செயலாளர் பிரிவுகளில் வாழும் 91,810 மக்களுக்குப் பாதுகாப்பான, சுத்தமான குடிநீரை வழங்கும் நோக்கில் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்ட தம்புத்தேகம நீர் வழங்கல் திட்டத்தைப் பொதுமக்களின் பாவனைக்கு கையளிக்கும் நிகழ்வில் இன்று (10) பிற்பகல் கலந்துகொண்டேன். சீன அபிவிருத்தி வங்கி (CDB) வழங்கிய சலுகைக் கடனின் கீழ் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட இத்திட்டம், 2022 மே மாதம் முதல் 2024 மே மாதம் வரையிலான காலப்பகுதியில் கடன் மறுசீரமைப்பு செயல்முறை காரணமாக இடையில் நிறுத்தப்பட்டிருந்த போதிலும், இதன் தேசிய முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்ந்து, இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்தின் நிதியையும் பயன்படுத்தி இத்திட்டத்தின் பணிகளை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்ய முடிந்ததையிட்டு மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன். இதற்காகப் பங்களிப்பு வழங்கிய அனைவருக்கும் எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்.
