Israeli occupation forces raid Al-Asha village in Quneitra countryside
Quneitra, July 10 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Asha in the southern countryside of Quneitra late Thursday night, according to a SANA reporter.
The reporter said an Israeli force comprising more than 15 military vehicles entered the village, remained briefly, searched a house and a feed storage facility, and then withdrew from the area.
On Thursday,Israeli occupation forcesalso entered the village of Saida al-Golan in southern Quneitra countryside, where they set up a temporary checkpoint at the village entrance before later withdrawing.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling targeting civilians.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation are null and void under international law. It has also urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities, stop Israeli violations and ensure a full Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.F.J./ABD
