Damascus, July 10 (SANA)Damascus Kidney Surgical Hospital provided more than 83,000 medical services during the first six months of this year, including kidney transplants, dialysis sessions and specialized procedures,the Health Ministrysaid Thursday.The ministry said the hospital performed 36 kidney removal procedures for transplantation, 36 kidney transplant operations and 486 urological endoscopies during the period.The hospital also carried out 18,974 dialysis sessions and 560 kidney stone fragmentation procedures, according to the ministry.Damascus Kidney Surgical Hospitalis one of Syria’s main specialized medical centers for treating kidney and urinary tract conditions. It provides kidney transplantation, dialysis and specialized surgical services as part of efforts by the Health Ministry to expand healthcare services and improve access to treatment.
