QatarEnergy cuts August crude prices amid rising Middle East supplies

Singapore, July 10 (SANA)QatarEnergy has cut its official selling prices for August-loading crude cargoes, as increased supplies from theMiddle Eastweigh on oil markets.

According to an official pricing document cited by Reuters on Friday,QatarEnergyset the official selling price forQatar Marine crudeat a discount of $5 a barrel against the average price of Oman/Dubai crude. The company priced Qatar Land crude at a discount of $4.50 a barrel, compared with a premium of $6.50 a barrel in July.

The price reductions follow a rise in Middle Eastern crude supplies last month, which offset earlier supply disruptions linked to regional tensions and affected spot market prices.

Saudi Arabia also lowered its official selling prices earlier this week for August crude shipments to Asian buyers, as producers adjust pricing amid changing market conditions.
