Israeli forces detain six Palestinians as raids continue across West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem, July 10 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces detained six Palestinians and injured several others, including women and children, during military raids and settler attacks acrossthe West Bankon Friday, according to Palestinian media.The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that seven Palestinians, including women and two children, suffered bruises and tear gas inhalation after Israeli settlers attacked them inthe Huwara areaeast of Yatta, south of Hebron. Israeli forces later entered the area, joined the assault and detained three members of the same family.Inthe village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, three Palestinians were wounded by live fire and dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation after Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas during a raid. Soldiers also assaulted members of one family, causing bruises and other injuries, and detained a young Palestinian.In Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained the mayor of Janata and another Palestinian after raiding and searching their homes. The military also carried out raids in several towns and villages across the governorate.Israeli forces also entered the city of Nablus, conducting raids in several neighborhoods, including the Old City, the eastern district and the western part of the city.Israeli occupation forces have continued near-daily raids across the occupied West Bank, alongside an increase in detentions and attacks on Palestinians and their property. On Thursday, Israeli forces arrested 12 Palestinians during raids carried out in several West Bank cities and villages.
