UK minister condemns Damascus terrorist bombings, stresses support for Syria stability
London, July 9 (SANA)UK Minister for the Middle EastHamish Falconeron Wednesday condemned the twin terrorist bombings near the Ministry of Tourism inDamascus, expressing condolences to the victims and their families.
In a post on X, Falconer said there was “no justification” for the attacks, stressing that the Syrian people deserve to live in peace.
He reaffirmed theUnited Kingdom‘s commitment to supporting “a stable and prosperous Syria.”
The twin bombings, which struck near the Ministry of Tourism on Tuesday, killed one person and injured 36 others, including four police officers. The attacks drew widespread condemnation from Arab countries and the international community.
