Damascus, July 9 (SANA)Director of the Europe Department at theMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sally Shobat, met Thursday with a Swiss diplomatic delegation, led by Patricia Danzi, director-general of theSwiss Agency for Development and Cooperation(SDC), to discuss ways to strengthen humanitarian and development cooperation.

During the meeting, held at the ministry’s HQ in Damascus, the two sides reviewed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in humanitarian and development fields and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

The discussions focused on supporting efforts aimed at Syria’s recovery and stability through continued cooperation between the two sides.
