According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the current state and promising priority areas of cooperation between the two countries in culture and the arts were discussed. The parties exchanged views on expanding cultural-humanitarian cooperation, implementing joint projects, and developing cooperation in the fields of theater, cinematography, museum and library services, cultural education, and the exchange of creative teams.

Ozodbek Nazarbekov, Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, emphasized that cultural ties between the two nations are growing steadily, reflecting the friendly and trusting relations established between the leaders of the two states.

The Ministers proposed establishing a permanent joint working group comprising representatives from both ministries. This structure can serve as a coordinator for areas of cooperation in culture and the arts, the implementation of joint projects, and the promotion of promising initiatives.

Special attention was given to expanding cooperation in cinematography and to developing a long-term program for the joint production of feature films and documentaries devoted to the shared cultural heritage, history, and modern life of the two countries.

The development of cooperation in the digitalization of the cultural sphere was also identified as one of the most significant tasks. The parties expressed interest in exchanging experience on the effective use of advanced technologies in museums, theaters, concert organizations, and other cultural institutions.
