Ankara, July 8 (SANA)President Ahmadal-Sharaaarrived at the Presidential Complex inAnkaraon Wednesday.

Upon his arrival at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, President al-Sharaa was welcomed byTurkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolatand several Turkish officials.

The visit coincides with the 36thNATO Summit, which is being held in Ankara on July 7-8 and hosted by Türkiye, as the alliance faces a range of regional and global security challenges.

Several leaders are attending the summit, including U.S. PresidentDonald Trump, French President EmmanuelMacron, British Prime MinisterKeir Starmer, German ChancellorFriedrich Merz, and the leaders of Finland, Slovakia, Italy, Canada, Bulgaria, Albania and Montenegro.
