Damascus, July 8 (SANA)Syrian Defense Ministryhas begun constructing a military floating bridge and completing another bridge in Deir Ezzor city to ease the burden on residents and contribute to reconstruction efforts, Defense Minister Brig. Gen. Murhaf Abu Qasra announced Wednesday.

“Based on the Syrian Arab Army’s duties toward its people, the relevant authorities at the Defense Ministry have begun constructing a military floating bridge and completing another bridge inDeir Ezzorcity,” Abu Qasra said in a statement posted on X.

The minister said the project aims to ease the burden on residents in the province and reaffirm that “the army, having fulfilled its duty on the battlefields, is also present to contribute to reconstruction efforts.”

Abu Qasra also extended his thanks to the Turkish Defense Ministry, represented by Minister Yaşar Güler, for the assistance provided in this regard.
