The Forum, organized at the initiative of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, brought together local and foreign scientists, experts, representatives of ministries and agencies, research institutes, higher education institutions, and international organizations.

According to the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan delegation’s participation in the conference was organized under the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) regional project on professional green skills for Central Asia.

The plenary sessions covered key topics including the development of renewable energy, the adoption of innovative technologies, digital transformation in the energy sector, the application of artificial intelligence in managing electric grids, and the potential future growth of solar and wind energy.

The conference featured presentations on improving energy efficiency, expanding the use of renewable energy, digitalizing the energy industry, and training scientific personnel.

Representatives of Uzbekistan familiarized forum participants with ongoing reforms in the country in the field of green energy development, discussed the results, and shared their practical experience in implementing such projects.
