In the Meeting of the National Climate Change Action Council (MTPIN) No. 1/2026 which I chaired today, we examined the progress of the implementation of various initiatives to strengthen Malaysia's commitment to the climate change agenda in line with the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). I also emphasized the importance of more comprehensive engagement with the State Government so that every policy and strategy is formulated in an inclusive manner, in line with the spirit of the Federal Constitution and respecting the jurisdiction and role of the state. The MADANI government remains focused on ensuring that the national development agenda moves in tandem with efforts to preserve the environment for a more sustainable future for future generations. #MalaysiaMADANI #MADANIWorking #YakinMADANI

Dalam Mesyuarat Majlis Tindakan Perubahan Iklim Negara (MTPIN) Bil. 1/2026 yang saya pengerusikan hari ini, kami meneliti kemajuan pelaksanaan pelbagai inisiatif bagi memperkukuh komitmen Malaysia terhadap agenda perubahan iklim selaras dengan Perjanjian Paris dan Konvensyen Rangka Kerja Perubahan Iklim Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (UNFCCC).
