In Lahore, the delegation met with the leadership of Nimir Industrial Chemicals, one of Pakistan’s leading companies in the chemical sector.
Following the negotiations, an investment agreement was finalized to build a modern deep-salt processing plant in Kungrad district.
During a meeting with Nawaz Hassan, CEO of Abdin International, the parties explored opportunities for collaboration in livestock farming. They discussed introducing new technologies, expanding pedigree livestock breeding, and establishing a modern feed production base.
Following the talks, an agreement was signed to establish a joint venture with the participation of Nukus Delisha to supply 200 head of pedigree cattle from Pakistan and to implement an investment project in this field.
A major highlight of the visit was the meeting with Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Chief Minister of Punjab. In their discussions, both sides explored ways to deepen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan through expanded interregional cooperation.
Special focus was given to exploring opportunities for enhancing trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Karakalpakstan and Punjab Province. Emphasis was also placed on executing joint projects across sectors such as agriculture, livestock, textiles, pharmaceuticals, IT, mining, and logistics.
The parties also discussed efforts to introduce Punjab’s advanced agricultural technologies in Karakalpakstan, engage Pakistani farmers in joint projects, and establish a special free economic zone along with a modern international logistics center.
