Representatives from 45 countries will take part in the continent’s largest sporting event.

Uzbekistan athletes are actively preparing for competitions in accordance with the approved program and individual plans. They are participating in training camps and international tournaments.

A group of specialists, led by Deputy Minister of Sports Shakhrillo Makhmudov and Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Sherzod Toshmatov, visited the taekwondo, weightlifting, and gymnastics federations, where they reviewed presentations on the national teams’ preparations for the Summer Asian Games.

Special focus was given to evaluating the athletes’ physical and psychological states, the training content, and the effectiveness of the preparation programs.

The participants also reviewed the national teams’ preparation plans, the calendar of athletes’ participation in international competitions, the system for monitoring expected results at the Asian Games, the athletes’ current performance indicators, the introduction of scientific and methodological developments into the training process, and the level of medical support provided to the teams.
