Furthermore, I underscored the importance of integrating low-income beneficiaries into the productive economy by encouraging their participation in part-time employment opportunities, rather than keeping them dependent solely on welfare assistance. I also paid particular attention to programs such as the establishment of day-care centers for children with disabilities and improving accessibility to public places for persons with disabilities. In addition, I highlighted the need to further strengthen and promote programs such as the contributory pension scheme implemented by the National Social Security Board through the use of modern technology.
