Aleppo to host HOTUREX Syria 2026 hospitality exhibition
Damascus, July 7 (SANA)Syria‘s Ministry of Tourism will hostHOTUREX Syria 2026, the International Hotel Equipment, Hospitality and Tourism Exhibition, inAleppofrom July 23 to 25, bringing together local and international companies as the country seeks to expand its tourism and hospitality sectors.
The exhibition will showcase products, technologies and services for the hospitality industry while providing a platform for investors, hotel operators and tourism businesses to explore new partnerships.
According toUN Tourism, Syria welcomed more than 4.09 million visitors over the past year, with the number of Arab tourists increasing by 99% and international visitors by 126%, reflecting growing demand for hospitality services and hotel infrastructure.
Tourism Minister Mazen al-Salhani told SANA that the growth of Syria’s tourism sector is creating new business opportunities extending beyond hotel construction to include supply chains, hospitality equipment, technology and related services.
He said the launch of new hotel projects has increased demand for modernizing the hospitality sector and improving service quality to meet the needs of a growing number of visitors.
Al-Salhani said the expansion of tourism is strengthening a wider network of businesses, including hotels, restaurants, suppliers, technology providers and support services, reinforcing the sector’s contribution to economic activity.
The minister described HOTUREX Syria 2026 as a professional platform that will bring together hotel, restaurant and café owners, investors and companies specializing in hospitality solutions and modern technologies to support future tourism investment and prepare the market for growing demand.
The exhibition follows a series of tourism events held across Syria in 2025, including the “Damascus: Rose and Heritage” exhibition at the Citadel of Damascus, as well as the country’s participation in regional and international tourism exhibitions aimed at strengthening Syria’s presence in the global tourism market.
