Damascus, July 6 (SANA)Syria’sMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriatesheld a joint workshop in Damascus on Sunday with an official delegation fromMorocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs,African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.

The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on issues of shared interest, with the aim of reinforcing bilateral relations and further developing mechanisms for coordination and cooperation across various fields.

In May, Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesAsaad Hassan al-Shaibanivisited Morocco and reopened the Syrian Embassy chancery in Rabat after a 12-year hiatus. He also held talks with senior Moroccan officials on strengthening bilateral relations.
