well we reckon to the International Airport the International Airport as all would know continues to remain a national imperative of national priority and of course we have firm commitment from the government of the People's Republic of China for the provision of financing for the airport and so we continue to be in direct contact with the government of officials of China on the airport so far this month we finalized the revised feasibility study which is a prerequisite for accessing the funding from the government of China this is this is 172 page document we delighted services of a consultant and we reviewed it internally and the consultation with other experts in respect to airport construction and that was forwarded to the Chinese authorities the the Chinese government has a team of people who ought to be arriving in Dominica in February of this year and the admission will be due to be here for a considerable time to finalize all the technical requirements now obviously with this current challenge confronting the Chinese authorities then we will have to look at the scheduling or the potential rescheduling of that technical team arriving in Dominica but that understanding will continues we have where we started our negotiations for the land all over lands were surveyed all of the lands were checked we have started negotiations with land owners and property owners and in the next few which will start payments to some other land owners who have concluded negotiations with the government negotiating team there is a three member government negotiate Tim in respect to acquisition of lands and properties in in the airport development area at a port site area and we open our Enix government's will conclude on only on the acquisition of lands the other action has to be taken is the more in-depth geotechnical studies of survey and so the first sec first portion first area will be acquiring would be the area where we have to do the geotechnical studies because that would require the drilling of some very large bores a very large force to allow for proper soil testing and to understand it geotechnical nature of this arm lands in the airport site the other thing we'll be doing in the next week or so is the appointment of international airport development committee of broad-based committee because the whole idea of the government is not for the government to be whole get this project by itself and for itself but to utilize the expertise available to it within the country and people who have an interest in seeing this project come true a reality and so that committee will go denominations or a committee will go to the cabinet next Tuesday for food well and of course will inform the nation of this to look at school workers will go in this is a national party for us we believe that with the presence of International Airport it was certainly complement the thrust in tourism the thrust in agriculture because people want to come in America they who want to come to the Americas tourists as visitors what we have to admit that their challenges regards to access and and and so the construction of the airport study document as I said 170 pages have been prepared and submitted to the Chinese authorities we are moving to an acquisition we have concluded negotiations we from several property land owners and
