Just wrapped up an excellent Singapore–Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat in Jakarta. Grateful to President Prabowo for his warm hospitality. We had good discussions on how to take our partnership forward, including in new areas like green energy, carbon credits, and the digital economy. These are promising areas where we can work together to create new opportunities for both our countries. We also exchanged views on regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East. We reaffirmed our shared commitment to keeping the Straits of Malacca and Singapore open, safe, and free for all. I thank President Prabowo for his friendship, partnership, and strong commitment to deepening Singapore–Indonesia relations.
