In the seventh round, Uzbekistan’s grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattarov drew with the reigning world champion Gukesh Dommaraju, playing with the white pieces. In the eighth round, he beat Alireza Firouzja, and in the ninth round, he defeated Ivan Saric of Croatia. As a result, Nodirbek Abdusattarov scored 10 points and took fourth place based on tiebreaks.

Alireza Firouzja, with 12 points, became the winner. Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa from India scored the same number of points but lost to the leader on tiebreaks. French chess player Maxime Vachier-Lagrave took third place with 11 points.
