The parties discussed measures to strengthen Uzbekistan’s cybersecurity system, increase the cyber resilience of the public and private sectors, and improve mechanisms to counter cybercrime.

Group-IB specialists presented an overview of current cyber threats, including attacks targeting the financial sector, introduced the meeting participants to new methods used by cybercriminals, and offered practical recommendations on how to prevent such cases. It was noted that as digital services expand, the number of cyber threats increases, which requires constant improvement of information system protection mechanisms.

The parties also discussed prospects for cooperation in the early detection of cyber threats, the introduction of modern information security solutions, the continuity of business processes, and the provision of consulting support to organizations.

Special attention was paid to training qualified specialists. In particular, the possibility of implementing cybersecurity education programs in cooperation with universities, organizing advanced training courses, and implementing a professional certification system was discussed.

The cooperation aims to develop the cybersecurity ecosystem in Uzbekistan, increase preparedness for current cyber threats, and ensure the safe development of the country’s digital economy.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to introduce advanced technological solutions and to implement joint projects to enhance Uzbekistan’s cyber resilience.
