Fuerza de Tarea panameña responde al llamado ciudadano para rescatar persona de entre los escombros

The Urban Search and Rescue Teams (USAR) of Panama - responding to information provided by citizens - went to the rescue of a person who was found among the rubble, eight days after the earthquake that occurred in Venezuela.
A team of 35 rescuers and 2 K9 canine units, upon receiving the information, moved forward to search the Marina Place building, where - after more than five hours of debris removal - they managed to locate the body of a person, unfortunately without vital signs.
The Panamanian team has carried out search operations in more than a hundred multi-family and residential structures, as well as along some seven avenues where affected buildings are located, inspecting sites where possible trapped people have been reported.
Panamanian professionals remained in the area of greatest damage, responding to the task of searching for survivors and rescuing victims, uniting families with their relatives, many of them reported missing.
This Friday, an act of recognition was held for the USAR-PAN11 Team that bids farewell to the search and rescue work, by the Government of Venezuela.
This team will return next Sunday to Panama, at 7:21 p.m. to Tocumen International Airport.

Regresarán este próximo domingo El Equipos de Búsqueda y Rescate Urbano (USAR, por sus siglas en inglés Urban Search and Rescue) de Panamá -respondiendo a información suministrada por la ciudanía- acudió al rescate de una persona que se encontraba entre los escombros, tras ocho días del terremoto ocurrido en Venezuela. Un equipo de 35 rescatistas y 2 unidades caninas K9, al recibir la información, avanzaron a realizar la búsqueda en el edificio Marina Place, donde -tras más de cinco horas de remoción de escombros- logran ubicar el cuerpo de una persona, lamentablemente sin signos vitales. El equipo panameño ha realizado operaciones de búsqueda en más de un centenar de estructuras multifamiliares y residenciales, así como a lo largo de unas siete avenidas donde se encuentran edificaciones afectadas, inspeccionando sitios donde se ha informado de posibles personas atrapadas. Los profesionales panameños se mantenían en el área de mayores afectaciones respondiendo a la tarea de búsqueda de sobrevivientes y rescatar víctimas, uniendo a las familias con sus parientes, muchos de ellos reportados como desaparecidos. Este viernes se llevó a cabo un acto de reconocimiento al Equipo USAR-PAN11 que se despide de las labores de búsqueda y rescate, por el Gobierno de Venezuela. Este equipo regresará el próximo domingo a Panamá, a las 7:21 p.m. al Aeropuerto Internacional de Tocumen.
