I congratulated President Trump and all Americans on Independence Day. We talked very well on the phone. We are grateful to the United States for all the assistance it has provided, from the Javelins and Patriots to political support, and we greatly appreciate America's support in defending our independence. I am grateful to all American hearts that care about the future of Ukraine, Europe and all the people in the world for whom freedom matters. Of course, President Trump and I discussed the current situation at the front and in diplomacy. There is a real prospect of ending this war, and American resolve will be decisive. We agreed to continue the conversation in person during the NATO summit in Ankara. Thank you, America! Thank you, Mr. President! Happy Independence Day! I wish America continued prosperity and only success.

Ми вдячні Сполученим Штатам за всю надану допомогу, від «джавелінів» і «петріотів» до політичної підтримки, і надзвичайно цінуємо те, що Америка підтримує нас у захисті нашої незалежності. Я вдячний всім американським серцям, яким не байдуже майбутнє України, Європи та всіх людей у світі, для яких свобода має значення. Звісно, ми з Президентом Трампом обговорили поточну ситуацію на фронті та в дипломатії. Є реальна перспектива завершити цю війну, і рішучість Америки матиме вирішальне значення.
