Damascus, July 4 (SANA)Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesAsaad Hassan al-Shaibanireceived a phone call fromFrench Foreign MinisterJean-Noël Barrot on Saturday to discuss the latest regional and international developments and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by theSyrian Foreign Ministry, the two ministers exchanged views on developments at the regional and international levels and discussed prospects for enhancing Syrian-French relations.
