The culture of dialogue should continue to thrive because that is where understanding, the proliferation of ideas and better solutions are born. In a mature society, differences of opinion are not a reason to stay away, let alone avoid. Today, the space for dialogue is wide open and all that is needed is the courage to show up and defend the argument with facts and conviction. If you are really confident in your own position, why should you be afraid to dialogue? This is what I shared during the Johor Youth Dialogue session at FELDA Ulu Tebrau, while calling on the voters in Puteri Wangsa to give a chance to the HOPE candidate, Dr. Maszlee Malik to serve bring their voice. Budaya dialog harus terus subur kerana di situlah lahirnya kefahaman, percambahan fikiran dan penyelesaian yang lebih baik. Dalam masyarakat yang matang, perbezaan pandangan bukan alasan untuk menjauh, apatah lagi untuk mengelak. Hari ini, ruang untuk berdialog terbuka luas dan yang diperlukan hanyalah keberanian untuk hadir dan mempertahankan hujah dengan fakta serta keyakinan. Jika benar yakin dengan pendirian sendiri, mengapa perlu takut untuk berdialog?
