Damascus, July 4 (SANA)– TheSyrian Network for Human Rights(SNHR) condemned the terrorist bombing that struck a café near thePalace of Justice in Damascuson Thursday, calling for a swift, effective and independent investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and bring those responsible to justice.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the (SNHR) said the terrorist bombing posed a serious attack on civilians and on the right to life and personal security, noting that the information currently available was insufficient to identify those responsible or establish the motive behind the attack, adding that it was continuing to verify the facts in line with its established methodology.

SNHR urged authorities to ensure that everyone involved in planning, carrying out or facilitating the attack is held accountable through judicial proceedings that meet international fair trial standards.

The terrorist bombing that targeted a café near the Palace of Justice in Damascus last Thursday claimed the lives of 10 civilians and the injury of 21 others.
