Several Palestinians injured after settlers’ attack in the West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, July 4 (SANA)A number of Palestinians were injured byIsraeli occupationforces’ bullets, in addition to the arrest of a number of young men, during a series of attacks carried out by settlers, under the protection of the occupation army, in various areas on Friday.
Wafa News Agency quoted Palestinian sources as saying Saturday that four Palestinians were injured in a settler attack east of Tubas, while a similar attack took place in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, resulting in injuries.
In the details of the Hebron attack, Director of the PalestinianRed CrescentSociety, Muammar Tamizi, explained that a group of settlers stormed the eastern area of the town and attacked citizens and landowners with the aim of seizing their livestock.
“The occupation forces provided protection for the settlers, and expelled the people from their lands amid heavy firing of rubber-coated metal bullets and sound bombs, which led to a young man being injured by a rubber bullet in the neck, and two elderly people sustaining bruises while confronting an attempt to steal sheep,” Tamizi added.
