Paraguayos en el exterior ya acceden a su vivienda a través de Che Róga Porã
After residing for 13 years in Santander, Spain, Tania, a 33-year-old Paraguayan, gained access to her own home in Paraguay through the Che Róga Porã program, becoming one of the first cases of compatriots living abroad who receive this benefit.
The handover of the keys was led by the President of the Republic, during an event held in the city of San Antonio, Central department.
Thanks to Che Róga Porã, Tania accessed a 78 m² home under the Land plus Construction modality, financed by ueno bank through a loan from G. 400 million, with a term of 29 years, a rate of 6.5% and a fixed quota of G. 3,229,788 during the entire term of the credit.
During the event, Minister Juan Carlos Baruja highlighted that Tania's case is the result of the information sessions held by the Government of Paraguay in Spain, where the program was presented to communities of compatriots residing in that country. Likewise, he noted that Che Róga Porãya has more than 500 registered construction companies and generates investments of more than USD 70 million, boosting employment and economic activity.
For his part, President Santiago Peña affirmed that access to housing constitutes a tool to provide greater security to families and facilitate the return of Paraguayans residing abroad. In this context, he pointed out that Che Róga Porã has incorporated new modalities based on the needs raised by citizens and highlighted that the Government seeks to develop public policies that also respond to compatriots who live outside the country.
An opportunity to plan the return
In March 2026, Che Róga Porã arrived in Spain with a series of information sessions aimed at the Paraguayan community. Tania participated in one of those meetings in Malaga, where she learned about the conditions of the program and began the process that today allowed her to access her home.
With this case, the Government of Paraguay expands the reach of Che Róga Porã towards Paraguayans residing abroad, facilitating access to their own home and accompanying those who plan to return to the country, while generating investment, employment and energizing the national construction sector.
