Lebanon, UAE, and Yemen condemn Damascus terrorist bombing
Damascus, July 3 (SANA)Regional and international condemnations have continued on Friday following the terrorist bombing that targeted a cafe in the vicinity of the Palace of Justice in Damascus on Thursday, which claimed the lives of 10 civilians and left 21 others injured.
Lebanoncondemned the terrorist explosion in the strongest terms. In an official statement published on X platform on Friday, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants emphasized that this assault “represents a new attempt to undermine security and stability in Syria during a critical phase of its recovery and resurgence after long years of suffering.”
The ministry added that the blast near the Palace of Justice carries a dangerous connotation, suggesting an intentional targeting of a symbol of justice and the rule of law.
The United Arab Emiratesalso strongly condemned the attack. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on the X platform on Friday that the UAE expresses its severe denunciation of these terrorist acts and its permanent rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at destabilizing public safety.
The ministry extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its country’s firm position rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, regardless of its motives or justifications.
The ministry declared its full solidarity with Syria in confronting everything that threatens its security and stability, expressing its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a rapid recovery for the wounded.
