Syria’s 2026 Specialized Exhibitions series draw more than 22,000 visitors
Damascus, July 3 (SANA)Syria’s 2026 Specialized Exhibitionsseries concluded on Friday after attracting more than 22,000 visitors and bringing together exhibitors from across theMiddle East,EuropeandAsia, organizers said.
The four-day event, held at theDamascus Fairgroundsunder the patronage of the Ministries of Public Works and Housing and Economy and Industry, featured three concurrent exhibitions focused on construction, energy and manufacturing.
The exhibitions included TechnoBuild for construction, building materials and infrastructure, Syria Energy for energy, electricity and industrial automation, and SINEX, the Syrian International Industrial Exhibition.
Companies and institutions from Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, China, Italy and Switzerland participated, alongside representatives of international firms. The exhibitions covered more than 45,000 square meters and showcased the latest products, technologies and industrial solutions.
Muwaffaq Tayara, Director-General of Exhibitions and Conferences Group, the event organizer, told SANA that the exhibitions attracted more than 22,000 businesspeople, traders, industrialists and sector specialists.
He said the event also resulted in several commercial agreements that are expected to be announced in the coming period.
Tayara added that The program included specialized seminars and panel discussions featuring experts in the construction and energy sectors, highlighting growing interest in industry-focused exhibitions as platforms for investment and business cooperation.
He said this year’s edition saw broader international participation and a higher level of specialization than previous editions, noting that several companies have already confirmed their participation in the 2027 event.
The exhibitions provided a platform for Syrian, Arab and international companies to showcase new technologies, exchange expertise and explore business partnerships in the construction, energy and industrial sectors.
