Day of anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Soldiers who protect our people, cities and critical infrastructure from Russian attacks day and night. It is the anti-aircraft missile forces that are the main deterrent against the invasion of Russian aviation into our airspace. Drones, missiles, aviation - during the years of the war, our anti-aircraft guns have already shot down tens of thousands of enemy targets. And we all see the results of this work. On May 4, 2023, the Ukrainian Patriot division was the first in the world to shoot down the Dagger aeroballistic missile. Ukraine has been living under constant massive airstrikes for the fifth year. The modern world has not yet faced attacks of this scale. And despite this, our anti-aircraft fighters prove their effectiveness every day, protecting the Ukrainian sky. Soldiers have successfully mastered and are working with modern foreign air defense systems. The combat experience of anti-aircraft missile forces is one of the greatest in the world.
