Tokyo, July 3 (SANA)A 6.4-magnitudeearthquakestruck waters northwest of Miyakojima Island in Japan’s Okinawa Prefecture on Friday, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.The agency said the quake was recorded at a lower 3 onJapan’s seven-point seismic intensity scale in Kume Island. No tsunami warning was issued.The epicenter was located at latitude 26 degrees north and longitude 125.8 degrees east.On Wednesday, a separate 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Iwate Prefecture in northeastern Japan.
