The President of the Republic, José Antonio Kast, held a communication this Thursday from the La Moneda Palace with a group of Chilean brigade members who are deployed in Venezuela collaborating in the search and rescue work after the earthquakes that affected the country. During the conversation, the Head of State expressed the pride they represent for Chile and thanked them for the commitment, professionalism and vocation for service with which they have faced this humanitarian mission. The brigade members, for their part, told the President their experiences during the last few days, detailing the work they have done in rescuing survivors and the complex conditions in which the operation has taken place. The Undersecretary of the Interior, Max Pavez, also participated in the event, who accompanied the President during contact with the Chilean team deployed on the ground.
