Had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Malaysia, Valiollah Mohammadi, on the sidelines of the 39th Asia Pacific Round Table Conference. I once again express my condolences to the government and people of Iran on the passing of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. I also convey my apologies for not being able to attend the funeral ceremony for the deceased due to an unavoidable official commitment. The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, brother Mohamad Sabu has been entrusted to represent the Government and the people of Malaysia to attend the final ceremony. 🇲🇾 🇮🇷

Berkesempatan bertemu Duta Besar Republik Islam Iran ke Malaysia, Valiollah Mohammadi, di sela-sela Persidangan Meja Bulat Asia Pasifik Ke-39. Saya sekali lagi merakamkan ucapan takziah kepada kerajaan dan rakyat Iran atas pemergian Allahyarham Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Saya juga menyampaikan permohonan maaf kerana tidak dapat menghadiri majlis penghormatan terakhir Allahyarham berikutan komitmen rasmi yang tidak dapat dielakkan. Menteri Pertanian dan Keterjaminan Makanan, saudara Mohamad Sabu telah diamanahkan untuk mewakili Kerajaan dan rakyat Malaysia bagi menghadiri majlis penghormatan terakhir tersebut. 🇲🇾 🇮🇷
