Presidente Abinader modifica la integración del Consejo de Administración de la Presa de Monción mediante el Decreto núm. 444-26
Santo Domingo.–President Luis Abinader issued Decree No. 444-26, by which article 2 of Decree No. 956-01, which constitutes the Monción Dam Administration Council, dated September 21, 2001.
The provision establishes that the Administration Council of the Monción Dam will be made up of a representative of the Catholic Church, who will preside over it, (José Rafael Núñez Mármol (a) Father Chepe); the mayor of the municipality of Monción; a representative of the Ministry of Tourism; the governor of the province Santiago Rodríguez; the governor of the province Valverde; a representative of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (Indrhi); a representative of the Dominican Hydroelectric Generation Company (Egehid); the president of the Monción Municipal Development Council; the director of the El Rubio municipal district; a representative of the Monción Dam Fishermen's Association and a representative of the Santiago Rodríguez Tourist Cluster.
Likewise, the decree provides that all members will exercise their functions in an honorary manner and may delegate their representation through written communication.
