Al-Shaibani reviews foreign ministry performance, sets future priorities
Damascus, June 30 (SANA)Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassanal-Shaibani, chaired an expanded, multi-departmental ministerial meeting Tuesday, at the ministry headquarters in Damascus.
The meeting was dedicated to evaluating institutional landmarks reached recently, aligning upcoming strategic workflows, and locking in the foreign policy priorities for the next phase.
The meeting also reviewed the ministry’s key accomplishments across a number of areas, particularly efforts to strengthen Syria’s diplomatic representation, develop foreign relations, expand international cooperation, and enhance coordination with other ministries and institutions in support of national priorities.
The meeting also discussed developments in consular services and measures aimed at improving the quality of services provided to Syrian citizens and expatriates, in addition to reviewing the implementation of digital transformation projects designed to modernize the working environment, simplify procedures, and enhance institutional efficiency.
During the meeting, Minister al-Shaibani stressed the importance of continuing to implement the ministry’s strategic plans and strengthening coordination among its various departments to further improve diplomatic and consular performance and achieve the ministry’s strategic objectives in the coming period.
