Damascus, June 30 (SANA)First Lady, Latifa al-Droubi, attended a poetry evening titled “Evening of Women Poets” at the National Library in Damascus on Tuesday, bringing together a group of prominent Syrian poets in a public cultural event.

The evening featured poetry readings by Ibtisam al-Sammadi, Basma Shaikho, Qamar Khazzam, Alaa Mustafa Ali, Safiya al-Dughaym and Faten al-Masri before an audience of literature enthusiasts.

The event highlighted the role of Syrian women poets in enriching the country’s literary and cultural landscape and formed part of ongoing cultural activities hosted by the National Library inDamascus.F.J./M.Z
