Satellite technologies have a multiplier effect on the power components of countries. Satellites play a strategic role in many areas, from intelligence to communication, from defense industry to mapping. For Turkey, which acts with the principle that those who have a mark in space have a say in the world, developing satellite capabilities is more of a necessity than a choice. As Turkey, we are striving to take the place we deserve in this race. We are currently one of the 11 countries that can produce their own communications satellite. Even though those whose horizons do not extend beyond their noses may not understand what we are doing or what kind of vision we act with, we will continue to walk with firm steps on the path we know is right.

Uydu teknolojileri, ülkelerin güç bileşenlerinde çarpan etkisine sahiptir. İstihbarattan iletişime, savunma sanayisinden haritalamaya kadar pek çok alanda uydular stratejik rol oynamaktadır. Uzayda izi olanın dünyada sözü olur düsturuyla hareket eden Türkiye için uydu yeteneklerini geliştirme, tercihten öte zorunluluktur. Türkiye olarak biz de bu yarışta hak ettiğimiz yeri almanın gayretindeyiz. Şu an kendi haberleşme uydusunu üretebilen 11 ülkeden biriyiz. Her ne kadar ufku burnunun dibinden öteye geçmeyenler bizim ne yaptığımızı, nasıl bir vizyonla hareket ettiğimizi anlamasalar da biz doğru bildiğimiz yolda sağlam adımlarla yürümeye devam edeceğiz.
