Following his participation in Seychelles’ 50th Anniversary of Independence celebrations, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mauritius, His Excellency Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam, concluded his visit to Seychelles yesterday.

Vice-President Sebastien Pillay was at Seychelles International Airport to bid farewell to Prime Minister Ramgoolam on behalf of the Government and people of Seychelles.

Prime Minister Ramgoolam joined other distinguished leaders in commemorating Seychelles’ Golden Jubilee of Independence, underscoring the enduring friendship between the two island nations.

The visit reaffirmed the close and longstanding ties between Seychelles and Mauritius, founded on shared history, regional cooperation and mutual respect.
