Lok Chumteav Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet presided over the inauguration of the "Preah Vihear Artharos Museum" at Phnom Preah Reach Trep (Phnom Udong) in Chey Udom Village, Phsar Dek Commune, Ponhea Leu District, Kandal Province. This temple was first built in the 17th century during the Udong period, on the foundations of an old temple in the 11th century during the Angkorian period in the style of a warehouse. This huge temple is 39.2 meters long, 22.3 meters wide and 23.6 meters high, while inside the temple there is a large Buddha statue 18 cubits (16.79 meters high, including the height of the throne), which means that the temple is called the Temple of Art. After decades of war, the temple was damaged and renovated until the head of the Royal Government of Cambodia handed over a restoration project under the control of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. Originated from the stupas of King Ang Eng and King Ang Sattha, as well as artifacts from the Udong period.
