"Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd." visited our country today, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. received the vice-president of his company, Kenji Sanada. Thanking him for taking the time to do business, he said that it was a great honor for him to meet with the Turkmen leader and heartily congratulated the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan and our Hero Arkadag on the anniversary of Arkadag, the first "smart" city in the region. He also noted the huge contribution of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the socio-economic development of our business country and raising its international reputation, and asked the President of Turkmenistan to convey his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the birthday of our hero. He said that talks will be held on the areas of cooperation between their companies and wished that the visit would be successful and that it would encourage further strengthening of bilateral cooperation. As mentioned, relations between Turkmenistan and Japan are of a long-term strategic nature. It is based on mutual respect and mutual support. Noting the great contribution of Japanese companies in realizing the economic potential of the country, the President said that for many years, large Japanese companies have implemented projects in the gas industry and chemical industry of Turkmenistan. Effective cooperation was also established with the Kawasaki company and experience was gained in various fields. Expressing his happiness for the great trust expressed in Kenji Sana and the opportunities for effective business in the promising Turkmen market, he assured that the company will fulfill its contractual obligations with high quality.
